Pastoral Tapestry

Is our imagination strong enough?
To see out this day still plagued beyond doubt,
Yet rich in vein that flows forevermore,
A fresh stream gives much to write home about.

Poplars loom like Flemish townhouses wealth,
They strident in achievement of pure art,
Touched like a warm breeze - our memory's world,
Where Summer begins messages depart.

Nature's well-heeled pastoral tapestry,
Weaves between our parallel universe,
That we see and that we take for granted,
July reveals that life is not a curse.

Her fabric is complexity itself,
Yet soft She's smooth of comfort deep and warm,
In our sleep She rides pleasurable dream,
Of Her finesse the truest, purest form.

The trade of vision quenched by such beauty,
Where the heart profits to feed the mind's search,
Worn on the sleeve of meandering tide,
To show affections borne in Nature's Church.
